We live in Stapleton and DSST is an attractive option but I was wondering whether more advanced kids (coming from Polaris) will be challanged enough?
I'd like to know more about Hamilton IPM program, any adivce?

I don't have a child at DSST, and it is still on our "list" but after speaking with parents and children about their DSST experience I am concerned it is too strict and wouldn't provide choices within daily structure. They have silent passing periods, a very rigorous study schedule including summer school and hours of homework daily, for example. They ARE planning their open house and chadowing schedule according to their website and office.
ReplyDeleteMost of the schools (including DSST and Hamilton) offer open houses for parents and visitation/shadowing opportunities for kids... Definitely check each school's website for details.
